Something's Happening

Starts well, a song from its time, with a raw production, which is not always a synonymous of poor quality. One can hear Led Zeppelin's Bonham influence on drummer John Sehon, moreover as he says "if anyone wants to play rock drums, you sure got to hear the musician who showed us how to do it!" The Peter Frampton's first solo show on the record shows you why he is a different guitarist, energy and creativity flowing endlessly. 5 minutes and 40 seconds of pure Rock! ... Ends up with a "Hello San Francisco!"

Show Me The Way

Brutal, the first time I heard this song I thought my cd player broke, nop...just a wonder boy with a guitar! I heard this song hundreds of times! Great guitar solo..

Wind Of Change

This is the track I usually skip, but it suits nicely all the lovers out there! Nice Valentine's Day soundtrack!

Baby, I Love Your Way

A classic! Great song, a ballad with pure Frampton's groove. This song was later murdered on the 80's by a band, if not mistaken , called Starship. Great composition and great ballad of Mr. Framptom.

I Want to Go To The Sun

This song gave birth to a legion of fans across the world. Thumbs up for the bass work, simple but very effective.

Lines On My Face

A ballad crescendo. Once again Mr Framption shows where he drank from his music.Listen and then tell me something about the man's roots!

Do You Feel Like We Do

The Concert's climax! A friend of mine once said "that dude speak through the guitar!" A super song, if I told you earlier that I heard a song hundreds of times ... well ... then I must have heard this one a thousand times. I love this song, love it! It's raw and powerful. Super music, one of the best done until now. Mr. Peter Frampton steps up info the famous talk box guitar effect.

(I'll Give You) Money

Great song, amazing groove.

Shine On

Peter Frampton again at his best, simple but very effective songwriting,

Jumping Jack Flash

Yes, it's Rolling Stones classic tune. Frampton respecting the original but adds up his talent on the song. Very good indeed.

In conclusion, a Classic Rock Album. A must for every music fan and especially for those into guitar learning. It's mandatory, it's history, "Frampton Comes Alive" did influenced a generation of musicians on its own.

We thank you Mr. Peter Framptom!

I was a teenager when this album was the rage. I never owned it. However, I totally concur that it was one of the defining albums of the 1970s. Good hub.

I've always heard a lot about this album, but I wasn't really sure what the hype was all about (I was 5 when it came out). Interesting review, voted up!
